The Crone:
witch-figures, happy hags,
and the symbolic geography
of power
I authored the companion essay to Sally Rees’ exhibition Crone, which showed at MONA from 18 June - 1 November 2021. the exhibition. The essay was published in the Suspended Moment catalogue set, and is also available available in the Island Magazine #162. I also led pathfinding on Kunanyi with Sally Rees in the research and development stages of the work.
